In 2026, drought exposes Brzegowice, a village submerged when a reservoir was built. Newly discovered records do not fit the official account of its evacuation. As an independent documentation team, you investigate who lived there, what residents were promised and how decisions were made. Compare plans from two periods, examine registers and witness accounts, and build a timeline. Eight field and archive actions let you request material and test hypotheses. Finish with a shared report supported by sources, clearly separating established facts from unresolved questions. One additional person runs the game. No historical or technical expertise is required. For adults aged 18+. Themes include death by flooding, institutional harm and falsified records, without graphic illustrations. All places and characters are fictional. Game materials are in Polish; this English text describes the product only. Play is offline. This digital edition has undergone review and simulations; human playtests and a physical print check are still pending. The estimated 150–240 minutes of play and up to 30 minutes of preparation after reading remain unmeasured.
A getting-started guide, 28 pieces of evidence, eight action cards, five character files, two maps at the same scale, a timeline, a residents’ fate worksheet and a report form. A separate game master guide includes release order, answers, graduated hints and the solution. Complete colour and black-and-white sets and a print guide are included. Every PDF has its own title page.
Choose colour or black and white. Print one set, single-sided on A4 at 100%. Start: pages 2–4; player materials: 2–43; GM guide: 2–13. This is 57 required sheets. The first page of every file is optional. The GM sorts the evidence; players should not browse the complete file before play.
